Housing Arachnida
As with any other pet you need to ensure that your pet Arachnida is housed in the best conditions that will suit its individual need. Lots of people house their Arachnida in a disused fish aquarium, it will work but is not ideal and the main reason is that glass is not a good isolator and most Arachnida cages need to be temperature controlled to suit the individual pet. Best is a wooden terrarium with one panel made of glass preferably sliding in order for you to access the terrarium for cleaning and maintenance. A lot of these are commercially available. Here at Pet Stop SA we stock a wide range of the pre manufactured terrariums but we also manufacture according to the clients needs. We will advise you on what will suit your reptile best in order for you and your reptile to be happy. |
